Shakespeare in the Park(ing Lot)

is an annual Free Shakespeare production set in a parking lot that invites people from all backgrounds to experience theater. Currently based at the Arlene Francis Center, in Santa Rosa - California, we believe that by embracing our environment, we can bring accessibility to Shakespeare and lower the bar of entrance to all.

Below are our current and past productions.

TWELFTH NIGHT (2023)

Our first production in the parking lot was held over two weekends in September 2023 at the Arlene Francis Center in Santa Rosa, CA.

The production was directed by Lukas Raphael and designed by Sofia Piccolo-Weichert, with production support by Mariangela Págan, Martin Hamilton, and Hamilton Clancy.

We were proudly sponsored by Emeritus Vineyard, Crossbarn Winery, Dutton Estate, Henhouse Brewery, Sonoma Clean Power, and worked in association with the Historic Railroad Square Association and in co-production with The Drilling CompaNY and the Arlene Francis Center.
